Benefits of Sponsorship
- Company name/logo listed on this website, EducationHackDay.org
- Recognition at our opening ceremony on Saturday and “Demo Day” on Sunday
- Opportunity to display a sign or banner at our event
- Hand out materials, swag, other relevant materials
Types of Sponsorship
- Financial Sponsor
This event is completely not-for-profit run by volunteers. Our goal is to keep the event totally free for attendees. Therefore we rely on the goodwill of sponsors and involved companies to make all this cool music stuff happen. Expenses include venue, food, and equipment. For this type, we’re looking for a minimum requested level of sponsorship of $500. - Prize Sponsor
Propose any challenge to our hackers (developers) and give awards to the projects that best solves your challenge. We’re having teachers crowdsource some ideas for projects on our website. For their help, we would like to offer prizes to teachers that offer winning ideas. If you’re interested in offering a “Classroom Prize” please let us know when you contact us. - API Sponsor
Come demo your API for our developers on Saturday and give awards to the projects that make best use of your API.
Prize Suggestions
If you’re interested in offering prizes to our winning teams, are are some suggestions from popular prizes offered at other Hack Day events: Cash, Apple MacBooks and iPads, airline vouchers, Amazon/Apple gift cards, etc.
Your generous sponsorship will be managed by the GBTC, c/o Education Hack Day, a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization (Tax ID 52-2156026) and used to facilitate the event.
